– Presentation of Anu and Vilma

Anu Lappalainen, veterinarian and specialist in small animal diseases, did her doctoral thesis on radiographic screening of hereditary skeletal disorders in dogs in 2013. She is a docent in small animal radiology at the University of Helsinki and conducts active research. Anu has served as a scrutineer for the Finnish Kennel Club for several years. At home, she has two wire-haired Miniature Dachshunds and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel to keep her life busy.

Vilma Reunanen, veterinarian and specialist in small animal diseases, works as a Clinical Instructor at the Department of Diagnostic Imaging, University of Helsinki. In addition to teaching, she does versatile practical work in different fields of diagnostic imaging. She is working on her doctoral thesis that focuses on hereditary spinal diseases. Vilma is a scrutineer for the Finnish Kennel Club. Vilma has four working-type Golden Retrievers she hunts with and from time to time, litters are born under the prefix Let’s.
